Title: Digital Marketing Specialist Reports to: Chief Marketing Officer Department: Marketing FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Location: Corporate Office (Foothill Ranch, CA 92610) Position Summary The Digital Marketing Specialist supports Eagle Community Credit Union’s marketing efforts by executing digital strategies across social media, web, and paid channels. This role focuses on creating content, coordinating campaigns, and tracking performance to strengthen brand awareness, increase engagement, and support growth. This is a hands-on role responsible for day-to-day execution and maintaining a consistent and engaging digital presence aligned with Eagle’s priorities. Create and publish content across Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, X, and TikTok Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and engagement across platforms in a timely and professional manner Develop and maintain a content calendar aligned with campaigns and organizational priorities Support coordination and execution of digital marketing campaigns across social, web, and paid channels Maintain and update website and blog content to ensure accuracy and relevance Assist with basic SEO and digital content improvements Track and report on performance metrics (growth, engagement, clicks, conversion) Use reporting tools to identify trends and recommend improvements Capture and create content, including photography and video Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging Monitor digital and social media trends to keep content current Ensure all marketing activities comply with credit union policies and applicable regulations Attend and support community events, including evenings and weekends, to capture content and promote Eagle’s brand presence Why This Role Matters This role helps Eagle stay visible and relevant in the communities we serve while building stronger digital connections with members. Strengthens brand awareness across digital channels Drives engagement and community connection Ensures campaigns are executed effectively Provides insights to improve marketing strategies Supports growth and member acquisition Qualifications Experience Minimum 2-3 years of experience in social media or digital marketing (beyond personal use) Experience actually running accounts and campaigns, not just posting for fun Exposure to multiple platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, TikTok, X) Education High school diploma or GED required Degree in marketing, communications, or related field preferred Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Strong written and verbal communication skills Working knowledge of social media platforms and digital channels Familiarity with analytics/reporting tools Ability to interpret data and recommend improvements Experience with photography and video content creation Proficiency with basic content creation and editing tools (e.g., Canva or similar design tools, and basic photo/video editing applications) Ability to quickly create simple, high-quality visuals and short-form videos for digital use Strong organization and time management Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines Collaborative and team-oriented Previous experience in a financial institution is preferred Professional office setting Regular use of computers, mobile devices, and digital tools Interaction with staff, vendors, and community partners Regular participation in community events, including evenings and weekends Physical Requirements Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
